What's New?

NEW ACCESS CONTROL SYSTEM

Access Integrator 3 Software
APC-300 Access Controller

Interoperable access control has taken on increased importance in every open systems building project. Facility owners, managers and tenants need assurance that their premises are protected against unauthorized entry.

Circon’s Access Integrator software and APC-300 Access Point Controller provide an open access control system that delivers maximum protection, flexibility, impleoperation and cost efficiency coupled with a deep level of interoperability with open, multi-vendor LonWorks technology based subsystems such as HVAC and lighting.

In addition to providing control for one or two doors, full parking lot control with anti-passback, or 64 floors of elevator control, the APC-300 interfaces easily with standard read heads and locking devices. Each APC-300 stores 10,000 access users and holds up to 3000 historical event records in its power-protected on-board memory. Instant facility lock-down in the event of a heightened security emergency is fully supported.

With its capability of interfacing with third party security systems, interacting with card only, or card/keypad credential requirements and providing a deep level in integration with other LonWorks based HVAC, CCTV and lighting systems, the APC-300 is an extremely efficient, extremely capable and cost effective LonWorks solution for facility access control.

Case Studies and Application Stories

Installation The Duke Realty Corporation of Marietta, Georgia

Circon Integrator: Automated Facility Systems (AFS), Inc.

The Duke Realty Corporation needed to provide better environmental conditions for its tenants in one of its buildings constructed during the late 80’s. The original rooftop units were pneumatically controlled and had reached the end of their life. The terminal units were typical variable volume (VAV) for core cooling and parallel induction (PIU) for perimeter cooling/heating. The mechanical design was typical for the 80’s in the southeastern United States.
