Complementary Product Spotlight

DINA Digital Video Recorder brings CCTV to Circon's LONWORKS Community

Circon is pleased to announce that it will carry the DINA product line of innovative LONWORKS integrated Digital Video Management systems as a part of the growing Complementary Product Program.

Mirasys is establishing clear leadership in the LonMark market by leveraging its position as a LonMark Partner and developing innovative applications for LonWorks protocol. By making digital video recorder (DVR) solutions affordable, easy to integrate, and readily available, Mirasys has been able to show unprecedented functionality and interoperability between DINA and neighboring building systems. DINA (Digital Images for Network Applications) is one of a few Digital Video Management systems in the marketplace to embrace integration and information sharing with systems that have co-existed with CCTV installations for decades. By using DINA's LonWorks connectivity, established LonWorks plug-in, or the DINA Software Development Kit, integrators are able to present visual images to any of the neighboring building systems or business processes, through LonWorks SNVTs, APIs, DLLs, or Java commands.
