What's New

Circon and Engenuity Sign Distribution Agreement

 

This distribution agreement expands on the Circon RPT-200 Physical Layer Repeater module that is currently available on Engenuity's website, www.engenuity.com, by introducing HVAC controllers, software, engineering services, and training to the online availability. Engenuity is well known to the industry for its long-standing commitment to LonWorks technology.

 

Circon's products that have been added to the online mix include the SCC-300 family, the UHC-302 and UHC-302-XMV, Network Integrator 3 network integration software, training courses including Internet Connectivity, Introductory i.LON® 1000 Web Design, LonWorks Network Design, Using 300-Series LNS® Plug-Ins, Using Network Integrator 3, Using LonMaker™, and Using Plexus NetServer, as well as Engineering Services and Technical Support.

California Energy Commission

Circon now has its SCC-300 and UHC-300/320 products listed with the California Energy Commission in its database of energy efficient appliances. The SCC-300s are classified as CO2 demand ventilation control devices and the UHC-300/320 are classified as automatic time switch lighting control devices. Having our products listed with the CEC makes it easier for our SIs to do business in the state of California. Databases source files containing all appliances certified to the California Energy Commission as meeting the current efficiency standards are available for downloading from the California Energy Commission's website as Microsoft Excel files.

John Cain Appointed to LonMark Board of Directors

Circon is pleased to announce that John Cain, Director of Sales at Circon, has been asked to join LonMark's board.The Association is governed by a Board of Directors consisting of a representative from each Sponsor member as well as elected representatives from the Partner and Associate members. The Board of Directors convenes and coordinates task groups, consolidates recommendations, and oversees the Association's marketing and technical program. John brings over 15 years of industry experience in sales and customer service as well as expert knowledge of industrial and commercial markets, end users and OEM,s and their sales cycles.

Echelon's product database has received significant site visitors in the past two months. During June and July, 109,771 pages in the database were viewed and 10,946 direct product searches were performed. To visit the database go to: www.echelon.com/productDB.

The tool box is a no-cost Web service hosted by Circon where integrators can present products for sale to the entire Circon channel of Integrators.
